Although the weather did not cooperate this morning...
Stomp Out Cancer walk, silent auction and luncheon continued as scheduled...
I am so glad the decision was made on Thursday to move
all the pre-walk activities to the patio.
8:00 AM...
Linda Booker, Shirley Meehan, and Janice Meagher are wondering
where are the silent bid items? "We are ready to bid!"
Pat and her friend brought the raffle baskets from the
office to the patio with the help of an umbrella and
large sheets of plastic.
Stretching before the walk...
These 11 cancer survivors came out this morning
despite the unfavorable weather.
Donning ponchos and rain coats,
and umbrellas, 48 brave souls went
walking in the rain.
OK. The ceiling decor was TOO appropriate!
Once again, the ballroom was fabulous.
The boots were just the right touch
for "Stomp Out Cancer Week".
A very nice crowd enjoyed a meatloaf dinner at
the Cancer Survivor's Luncheon.
