We are a group of ladies of a certain age who are ready to have some fun. Most of us live somewhere else and spend our winters in the warm, sunny south at a wonderful resort in the United States.

Potatoes on the Patio

Sue and Lorraine arranged a Baked Potato luncheon as a December social event for the Canyon Vista Vixens. Sandy graciously volunteered her patio for the event.

Patio heaters helped to keep us warm.

Jim (Lorraine) was there to take pictures
for posting on the big screen.

Red and purple adorned the tables and the guests!

Mary wearing her Christmas red hat.

Connie and her red hat.

Lorraine's red hat.

Thank You Sue, Lorraine & Sandy.
Thanks to all who shared toppings for the baked potatoes.

Merry Christmas
and a
Happy New Year!

Salad Luncheon

A sea of red and purple.

The birthday girl Sandy

How many things can you add to the lettuce?

Sandy's birthday and Wanda getting ready for a wedding.

What a great turnout for our salad luncheon. We celebrated Sandy's birthday and forgot to congratuate Wanda on her upcoming nuptuals. We raised $60.00 for the Cancer Week by sharing our red hat items with each other. Hazel did her usual wonderful job of organizing us for the next month but did announce that she will be leaving us early in Feb. Thank goodness Lorraine and Sue offered to take her place. Notice it takes two people to cover the amount of work that Hazel did by herself. Thanks Hazel for all of your hard work.

Coleen spent time discussing the Cancer Week for our park and received a lot of volunteers to fill in the empty spots needed to make this week a success.
