We are a group of ladies of a certain age who are ready to have some fun. Most of us live somewhere else and spend our winters in the warm, sunny south at a wonderful resort in the United States.

Lunch at Tia Rosa

Some of the Vixens traveled to Tia Rosa for lunch on Wednesday, February 13th. I had not been to the place before. I really enjoyed the decor as well as the food. This is lunch through the lens of my camera.

An interesting building

And through entrance two
cute courtyard, but it was too chilly on Wednesday
for lunch on the patio

The price of the Millionaire and Billionaire
Margaritas caught our eyes
And No, we did not order one and each take a sip!

That is everyone

No, our queen was not mad at me, just caught her
in mid-look
Or maybe she was practicing Coleen faces???

And there we all are

Thank You, Sue & Lorraine
Tia Rosa was a dining delight
The food was a tasty as the decor was unique

The Vixens & Mardi Gras

This post is about the CV Vixens and the Mardi Gras Parade at Canyon Vistas on Fat Tuesday, February 12th. There are many good photos on Facebook about all the parade entries or on my blog about the parade, so this post will only be about the Red Hats.

Cathy, Brenda, Joanie & Brenda got together on Sunday and selected music for the parade to go along with our Vixen (foxy lady) theme.

The following gathered at Brenda's on Monday afternoon to decorate two golf carts for the Red Hat entries:

Mary, Joannie & Gayle attaching flowers

Gayle & Joanie attaching more red & purple
