Wow wasn't it great to see so many members at our meeting. Even with the time change we managed to get started on time.
The statistics that say if you are a group of 25 people there is a 50% chance that two of those people would have the same birthday was proven at our introduction session. Not one but two shared birthdays! Isn't that amazing.
Thanks to Hazel and Cathy for organizing our month of December events. On Sat we will be heading to the Christmas Idea house, on Tues we will be going to see the Zoo Lights and on Thur we will be having our Christmas Lunch at the Cordon Bleu Cooking School in Scottsdale. Let's dress up in our Christmas Finery.
Cathy has arranged for a group to go to see A Christmas Carol at the Hale Theatre on Dec 14th. I think we are going to be very busy.
Mary Carson (Countess of Cameralot) is busy taking pictures for our directory. Are many of you like me you need to see the face and the name at the same time? This makes it so much easier to find people. Thanks Mary.
January is also going to be a busy month beginning with our Salad Lunch on the 5th. Hazel is making arrangements for a trip on Dolly Steamboat, tea at Ms Thomas' teahouse, a trip to a very exclusive consignment shop and a possible tour of some heritage houses.
We will end the month with the Cal-Am Red Hat luncheon at Mesa Regal on Jan 31st.
And of course there will be our biggest event of the season, the Cancer Week at Canyon Vistas the last full week of January.
Happy Red Hatting
